So, a guy walks into a backpackers and says "Have you got a few folk here that would be interested in some work?"
Not the start of a bad joke - this happened this morning. Book a cabin and be here for the next opportunity. Our cabin rate is the best in Napier and is reduced until you start work. It's the Toadie way!

Opening soon is a new eatery, Bistronomy. It's looking to be a great place to eat, drink and make friends. Just a short stroll from Napier's best hostel - that's Toadies, that is.
Also this week, it's even easier to get to Hawkes Bay with Jetstar announcing they will be flying in/out of Napier from December. Great news for Toadies!
And the biggest news this week, is the first day of Spring! Taniwha Daffodils is your chance to skip through feilds of gorgeous daffodils!
The Blossom Parade, held on 12 September is another, not to be missed, spring event.
Seasonal work starts now too, so if you are looking for orchard work or hospitality work, check-in to Toadies and get sorted.

September is the time to get sorted! Be the first to arrive and take advantage of early bird specials and work opportunities. Don't pay full weekly rates while you are looking for work. That's how we roll, or in our case, hop, at Toadies.
Toadie helps international travellers that want to be independent. Work where you want and live where you want. Just know, we're here to help where we can, with local knowledge and contacts.
4 - 6 people required at the end of September/early October - market garden
Up to 4 people required for kiwifruit - mid-October
Waitress/bar staff at popular restaurant/bar - advertising now
Both jobs require own transport. Be in early to get free off-street parking at Toadies.
Pick NZ is a good place to register, and Mr Apple is a huge employer of seasonal workers so letting these two companies know that you are here and available is a good thing to do. But you can also be the first to approach the smaller growers.
